Crystal is an 8 year old, black daughter of the fabulous Walton Troop Leader, a Canadian 4-time Grand Champion stallion who competes in halter, dressage and stadium jumping! Crystal takes after her sire with great animation and fluidity, which she passes to her foals. She stands an honest (vet certified) 17.1hh, and is a very heavy mare, yet with an elegant neck and quality bone. Crystal is broke to drive, and was shown as a youngster (placing 1st and 2nd). Lucy is an 8 year old black Shire mare with flawless conformation. She stands an honest (vet certified) 17.2-and-a-half hands. Lucy has lovely upheaded, fluid, and forward movement. Exuding grace, class, and an eagerness to learn, she is the epitome of the modern Shire. She is well broke to ride, being one of the most solid, level headed trail horses you can imagine. Lucy is very well bred from champion English Shire bloodlines and is a great asset to our breeding program. Her 2005 foal, Avalon's Legionnaire, is already a Champion-- he swept up the wins at the 2007 OKC Draft Horse Championship AND the 2007 National Shire show in Pomona!

The newest news buzz is that our search for a large, homozygous Gypsy for breeding Drum Horses has finally come to fruition! Abhrill is a 15.2hh Gypsy mare who is homozygous for tobiano (meaning that all of her foals will be spotted) and professionally trained to ride. She loves to jump, and produces gorgeous, TALL foals! Abhrill will arrive in early 2008 after weaning her 2007 foal for Desert Jewel and Whispering Winds Gypsys. When bred to Paladin or a Drum stallion, we look for her to produce amazing Drum foals!

Abbie is a bay, moderate sabino Clydesdale mare that was one of our first foals several years back! Her dam is none other than MacQueen Highland Lady Darroch, an amazing mare that now resides with Mariah Farms' Drum Horse breeding program. Like her dam, Abbie has an unflappable and sweet disposition, hair to spare, and tons of floaty suspension in her gaits. Abbie is on lease for one year, and is confirmed in foal to Clononeen Ard Ri for a March 2008 Drum foal with guaranteed color!
