Crystal is a 5 year old, black daughter of the fabulous Walton Troop Leader, a Canadian 4-time Grand Champion stallion who competes in halter, dressage and stadium jumping! Crystal takes after her sire with great animation and fluidity, which she passes to her foals (see Carmen, below). She stands an honest (vet certified) 17.2hh, and is a very heavy mare, yet with an elegant neck and quality bone. Crystal is broke to drive, and was shown as a youngster (placing 1st and 2nd). Carmen is a 2 year old black Shire filly who is a daughter of our very own Cold Acres Crystal Ice, and sired by Wandamere Humphrey Bogart. She currently stands 16.1 hands at 24 months of age! You haven't seen a Shire MOVE until you see Carmen float across the field- WOW! Lucy is a 5 year old black Shire mare with flawless conformation. She stands an honest (vet certified) 17.2-and-a-half hands. Lucy has lovely upheaded, fluid, and forward movement. Exuding grace, class, and an eagerness to learn, she is the epitome of the modern Shire. She has been lightly started under both saddle and harness. Darroch is an 9 year old bay Clydesdale mare with flashy sabino markings and TONS of hair! She is a big mare, standing an impressive 17.3hh barefoot. Darroch has the floating action of a dressage horse, the heaviest feather of any of our horses, and the sweet disposition of a kitten. She produced a darling Clydesdale filly for us in 2004 named Lady Abbigial of Avalon, and is now in foal for 2006 to Gypsy Vanner stallion, Clononeen Ard Ri!
